In order to acquire a new information, skills and techniques about the job, to bring professional solution to problems, and to adapt the organization,
continuous in-service training is required.
To train police officers according to demands of new era, training activities should be designed according to contemporary training methods and
technologies with the scientific approach. By delivering high quality in-service training, TNP will reach the goals in its vision and achieve the duties
in its mission.
Education and Training Department is responsible for training police officers, providing information about the duties and responsibilities, increasing
the efficiency and effectiveness of policing, preparing officers for higher ranks and responsibilities, motivating officers to develop new
working systems with in-service training courses. It also aims to meet the training needs of the TNP, develop new training programs according to
changes and new developments, support the idea of continuous development and human resource as the key capital of the organization.
